Hurricane Beryl Appeal
On 1st July, Hurricane Beryl, a Category 4 hurricane, tore through the Windward Islands in the Caribbean, making direct landfall on Carriacou and Petite Martinique, two dependencies of Grenada. Approximately 90% of all buildings were either destroyed or damaged, resulting in many families now living in shelters or with neighbours and friends whose homes are also in need of repairs.

Mother Noel Charity has been working with the Grenada Ministry of Education’s scholarship desk since 2022. In 2023 and most recently this year before Hurricane Beryl, we have issued scholarships to young people in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.
Fundraising for Victims of Hurricane Beryl
In the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Beryl, Mother Noel Charity is now raising funds to assist families in Carriacou and Petite Martinique with repairing and rebuilding their homes. We aim to assist as many households as possible with one-off donations that will make a noticeable difference towards their restoration costs. To meet this challenge, we’ve set up this campaign with an initial goal of raising £25,000. The amount donated to each household will be determined by how close we get to, or exceed our target.

We are committed to supporting victims of Hurricane Beryl by working with local organisations, community and church leaders in Grenada and Carriacou where we have existing relationships.
